Thermocouples manufacturers THERMOCOUPLE TYPE
COMMENTS ENVIRONMENT BARE WIRER
educing, vacuum, inert. Limited use in oxidizing at high temperatures. Not recommended for low temperatures.Clean oxidizing and inert. Limited use vacuum or reducing. Wide temperature range, most popular calibration. Not recommendedwhere sulfur is present.
Alternative to K-type. More stable at high temperatures. lt provides better resistance to oxidation at high temperatures andlonger life in applications where sulfur is present.
An exposed junction is recommended for the measurement of static or flowing non-corrosive gas temperatures where fast response time is required
A grounded junction is recommended for themeasurement of static or flowing corrosive gas andliquid temperatures and for high-pressure applications. The junction ofa grounded thermocouple is welded to the protective sheathgiving faster response than the ungrounded junctiontype.
An ungrounded junction is recommended for measurements in corrosive environments it is desirable to have the thermocouple electronically isolated from and shielded by the sheath. The welded wire thermocouple is physically insulated from the thermocouple sheath by Mgo.
We do also carry spade lugs, standard/miniature size connectors, ceramicultra high temperature standard/miniature connectors and more for the samethermo element for almost every type of thermocouple. Please contact HEATELEMENT representative for more information!Thermocouples manufacturers
